Leisa Seiden is the Mathematics teacher at Renewed Hope Ranch. She grew up in Ogden, Utah. Leisa moved to Seattle Washington after she graduated from Utah State University with her bachelor’s degree in business education and a minor in marketing.
While living in Seattle, Leisa worked as the director of a learning center, but decided to be a full time mother after her children were born. She and her husband moved to Cedar City in 2005 to start their own business and be closer to their family. They owned their own business for 5 years, but were forced to close after the economic downturn.
Despite their hardships, they had fallen in love with Cedar City and decided to stay. Leisa has been teaching math for 5 years, while also taking care of her mother who suffers from Alzheimer’s. She enjoys working with her students and helping them find their way through their math studies.
