Training & Culture Coach
My name is Oscar Fakahua. I was born and raised in the bay area of California by parents who emigrated from the South Pacific Islands of Tonga in the late 1950s. For the past 35 years, I have worked in the human service industry. I began my career in Youth Corrections as a counselor and have continued as a trainer and facilitator in residential treatment centers.
I have spent years training staff members in various facilities who work one-on-one with individuals of special needs or have been placed outside of their homes. I continue to mentor and address various cultural and religious groups, high school and college athletic teams, conduct professional training for multiple businesses and share messages of promise and potential for people around the country as an inspirational and motivational speaker.
I am a current life-coach for those who experience day-to-day struggles. The best part of what I do is watching people heal by embracing their fears and vulnerability and figure out how to overcome adversity.
“My heart is my compass.”-Oscar Fakahu
