HEATHER LARSEN & Gracie
Registered Nurse
>> BIOGRAPHY
Heather’s professional life in nursing started right out of high school when she started working as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She attended SLCC and Utah State University and graduated from nursing school in 1994. Heather spent the following 12 years working in Adult ICU for Intermountain Health Care. She moved to hospice care in 2009 and truly enjoyed working with this population of patients and their families.
Heather continued with hospice until 2018 when she accepted the position as Director of Nursing for Ashford Assisted Living in Draper, Utah.
Heather’s personal and professional life merged at the end of 2018 when her daughter graduated from Renewed Hope Ranch (RHR). It was then that she felt the need to serve the girls at RHR and work with the wonderful staff. She knew what it was like to be a parent with a daughter in the program, and felt she could use that personal knowledge and experience to contribute to RHR as their program registered nurse. Heather and her family relocated to Cedar City and she started working at RHR on May 2019.
Heather loves spending time with her wonderful husband and three amazing daughters. She enjoys gardening, arts and crafts, animals and the beach! Heather and her husband and go fishing in Alaska every summer and they love the beauty and excitement of being there together.
